Infineon Visit

💡Exploring Innovation Together 💡

In collaboration with Infineon Technologies, EESTEC LC Aachen successfully organized an exclusive visit for students from RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
This visit, which took place in Warstein from 10:00 to 16:00, offered 22 participants the chance to gain unique insights into the world of semiconductor production, power electronics, and industrial automation. The group departed Aachen early in the morning at 6:00 and returned around 21:00, making it a full day of exploration and learning.
The excursion was organized as a follow-up to the EESTech Challenge 2025, a student competition that EESTEC LC Aachen held earlier this year in partnership with Infineon. Building on this collaboration, the visit allowed participants to experience first-hand how advanced semiconductor technologies are developed and applied in modern industry.
Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to explore two laboratories and the production line, witnessing cutting-edge manufacturing processes and innovative research environments. A highlight of the event was the interactive networking session, where participants engaged directly with Infineon engineers, asking questions about their daily work, current projects, and possible career paths.
The visit exemplified EESTEC’s mission to connect academia with industry, giving students practical exposure to real-world engineering applications and encouraging them to pursue careers in technology and innovation.
