Workshops, organized by EESTEC LCs, are events that consist of academic activities such as classroom lectures, practical exercises, laboratory work or technical trips. So if your main purpose is to enhance your knowledge, this type of events are the perfect opportunity for you!
- If defined as international, this means that also members of other LCs are participating in the workshop.
- Exclusive workshops and advanced workshops have compared to the normal workshop additional criteria a participant needs to fulfill in order to be able to apply. For advanced workshops the criteria is in most cases academic level of knowledge, that is required in order to truly comprehend the lecture materials.
Note, that workshops could last up to one week and the teaching language is typically english.
Motivational Weekends (MWs) are fun, weekend-long events, as the name implies. Usually, they involve two great parties and day activities, such as hiking, swimming, playing games and many more.
Main purpose is to strengthen the connections between the participants.
- MWs could be either local or international, where for the later one also participants from other EESTEC LCs are taking part.
Exchanges combine the learning opportunities of a normal workshop and the fun activities of the motivational weekend, while still lasting up to one week.
Project Events are very unique events within EESTEC and quite akin to Operational Events, as they are associated with an International Project and organized annually, on top of the branch that is selected as the Organizing Committee.
Such events are EESTech Challenge, Live Regional Meetings and Soft Skill Academy.
Some of the best events that our organization has to offer, where EESTECers from all across Europe gather to develop their skills and strengthen their knowledge in the areas where EESTEC needs to improve or break new ground. Participation in all of these Operational Events is completely free for all participants. Participants are usually not chosen by the Organizing Branch, but rather by the Team/Project that is associated with the Operational Event. They are highly valued in our Association and create opportunities for our organization to grow, therefore they have an enormous impact on the entire organization.
Such events are T.O.O.L. Boostcamp/Leaders of Tomorrow (Topic Oriented and Optimized Learning), Brand.Comm, IT Sprint, Design Sprint, CRedit and Training for Trainers (T4T).
Congresses are the most important events in our Association, where passionate representatives from each branch and all the Bodies of the Association gather to have important discussions and make decisions for the good of EESTEC. Hosted by a different branch each year, they bring together hundreds of EESTECers on a week-long event where representatives will evaluate past activities, discuss future plans and play a role in making decisions for the good of the organization.
Every year, two Congresses are organized: Spring Congress and Autumn Congress.
