On 19-20 May 2025, thanks to the collaboration between Huawei and EESTEC LC Aachen, more than 20 ambitious students from Aachen had the opportunity to explore the world of mobile wireless technology and infrastructure.
On the first day, Huawei welcomed the group to its headquarters in Düsseldorf, where students gained an inside look at what it is like to work at Germany’s leading mobile network hardware and software provider. They were given a first‑hand view of workstations, data centers, as well as leisure and bonding spaces. The visit was enriched by Huawei employees who introduced the company’s goals and values while sharing their personal career experiences. This exchange offered students the perfect opportunity to network and gather inspiration for their future studies and professional paths.
Day two featured a workshop on Mobile Networks, 5G applications, cloud solutions, and digital power innovation, where Huawei engineers and professionals presented cutting‑edge technologies. The highly educational program was complemented by an introduction from Huawei’s Human Resources team, who provided valuable tips on the application process and optimizing application documents. Individual CV reviews further helped each student refine their materials and prepare for their career journey.
Concluding the event, students and professionals shared dinner together, where informal conversations deepened the students’ understanding of Huawei’s culture and values, leaving them with both knowledge and lasting connections.
